On 25 February we held the second meeting of the BIS digital in policy group.
The Queen’s Awards Office is responsible for managing and delivering the prestigious Queen’s Awards for Enterprise which recognise and reward outstanding achievement by UK businesses and individuals.
It’s not every announcement that combines weather (surely every Brit’s favourite topic of conversation?!) with space (a subject which never fails to excite and amaze). So when the digital team learnt the department was planning on announcing a major investment in Space Weather forecasting, we were immediately interested.
