When you're in a digital team, every day is obviously digital day.
But we're particularly looking forward to our next big concerted set of activities to promote digital in its widest sense - from the role of digital engagement in open policy making, to how we're using GOV.UK, to how we're transforming services - within the department.
So, commencing during this year's with Social Media Week, we'll be holding a series of events in September and October to mark our own Digital Fortnight, and launch our guidance for policy people keen to make a digital impact. We're still at the planning stage, but so far we've got some exciting speakers lined up, knowledge sharing sessions, and more. There'll even be a reprise of last year's Tweet-up for the growing band of policy makers who are choosing to engage online as part of their day jobs.
So, if you're in the department, keep an eye on the intranet and Yammer for more info on sessions and how to sign up. We'll blog more detail here nearer the time too.
